NEW INITIATIVES
SUMMARY
Provides complex
product management, sales, marketing, and competitive
analysis consulting services by performing the following
duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Provides sales
and bottom line accountability for defined product
area
-
Define
offerings and strategies for entering new markets in
defined product area
-
Manage the
product portfolio, which defines the product
offerings
-
Provide
marketing direction and coordination with Operations
Department and Regional Directors
-
Provide sales
support capabilities including:
-
Pre-marketing
support to Regional Directors
-
Direct
marketing to Clients
-
Proposal
development
-
Competitive
analysis
-
Marketing
messages and content
-
Provide content
oversight and updates for the company website
-
Provide and
conduct product-specific training to both internal
and external audiences
-
Develop
alternatives for solutions to problems and, where
appropriate, assists in implementing improved or new
business processes or automated systems
-
Collect,
document, and analyze information concerning
clients’ current clinical, financial or business
processes and information systems
-
Define, test,
and implement solutions to business and systems
problems
-
Assist in
identifying new business opportunities and in
developing and presenting proposals to prospective
clients
SUPERVISORY
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises all
consultants and contractors assigned to product area.
QUALIFICATIONS To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master's degree (M. A.) or
equivalent; or five years healthcare and Medicaid
related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE ABILITY
Ability to read, analyze,
and interpret common scientific and technical journals,
financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to
respond to common inquiries or complaints from
customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the
business community. Ability to write speeches and
articles for publication that conform to prescribed
style and format. Ability to effectively present
information to top management, public groups, and/or
boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL ABILITY
Ability to work with
mathematical concepts such as probability and
statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and
solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply
concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and
proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define
problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety
of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram
form and deal with several abstract and concrete
variables.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must be proficient in word
processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, database, contact
management, internet, and project management software,
as well as Visio.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Must have
familiarity with project management tools and
methodologies. Must have excellent communication,
problem-solving, and customer service skills. Must be
self-motivated, able to work independently, and a team
player.

management position with an incentive compensation plan
