For example, FOX was chosen to provide technical
assistance and support to the Arizona Works Agency
Procurement Board, which was charged with overseeing an
innovative welfare privatization pilot project in the
State of Arizona.
In addition to providing technical assistance to the
Board, the project involved:
- Conducting public
board meetings and public information gathering
forums
- Overseeing the
operations of the pilot project
- Holding weekly
operational meetings with the private sector vendor
and the public welfare agency
- Writing an RFP for
the Board to contract with an independent evaluation
vendor and evaluating proposals for the Board
- Managing the
Board’s contract with the independent evaluator
