Ms. Connor is a HIPAA compliance specialist with outstanding administrative and management skills and experience. As a key HIPAA team member on several projects for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), she assisted with development of HIPAA provider outreach materials for the Electronic Transaction Standards regulation; analyzed business practices of current health care EDI intermediaries as they relate to the HIPAA Privacy regulation; and served as Project Manager and Lead Analyst on the CMS MSIS Project, which analyzed the impact of state Medicaid’s HIPAA remediation on their ability to report MSIS data. She serves as Co-Chair of HL7 Financial Management Technical Committee. Prior to joining FOX, she served as the Project Director for the State of Washington Medical Assistance Administration, where she was responsible for the development and management of the entire project to meet the requirements of HIPAA regulations.

Vicki Hohner

Ms. Hohner is a HIPAA Project Manager and subject matter expert with 15 years of public health experience, 13 years of privacy experience, and over eight years of HIPAA experience. She manages and organizes HIPAA privacy and training projects and participates as a member of FOX teams involved in HIPAA assessment and implementation projects. She managed HIPAA assessment, coordination, and implementation activities for the Washington State Department of Health, with particular emphasis on privacy, and has worked with consultants and others to organize projects, create project plans, write assessment reports, and create HIPAA documents and presentations.

Frank Matina
HIPAA and MMIS Specialist
Mr. Matina has over 20 years of Information Technology experience with ten years in Healthcare Information Management Systems, including Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS). He possesses strong leadership and management skills and a proven track record to successfully implement complex technical solutions. In addition, he is an expert in the HIPAA regulations, with a concentration in transactions and code sets, and has successfully performed in roles as both project manager and technical architect for State and County HIPAA projects.

Katherine Sullivan
HIPAA Specialist
Ms. Sullivan has over 10 years of Medicaid/MMIS experience and four years of experience providing HIPAA subject matter expertise. Her expertise includes data mapping, operational impact assessments, quality assurance of test data, and development of code crosswalks. Prior to joining FOX, she served as a HIPAA MMIS Specialist and Information Technology Systems Specialist for the State of Washington Medical Assistance Administration, where she chaired the local code technical advisory group, responsible for the crossing of local coding, and participated in the 270-271 eligibility and EOB technical advisory groups.
