SUMMARY

Provides complex management and information technology consulting services to clients by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) procurement and RFP development, MMIS implementation, Medicaid Policy, Pharmacy Benefit Management related to Medicaid. Fiscal Agent Vendor RFP. Will help in the evaluation of vendor proposals.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE ABILITY

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL ABILITY

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Must be proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail, database, contact management, internet, and project management software, as well as Visio.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Must have familiarity with project management tools and methodologies. Must have excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
